Our safari cabins are self-contained and offer all the comforts of home with the added benefit of feeling like you're in the great outdoors. Go to sleep listening to the gentle waves lap at the beach and wake up with all of the conveniences of self-contained cabin accommodation. 

Every cabin has underfloor heating as well as an oil radiator and small fan heater as well as a television for your enjoyment.

Kitchen & cooking 

The cabin kitchen includes most conveniences of your home kitchen;

  • Private pod coffee machine (4 complimentary pods per cabin, extras $1 each from the office) 
  • Kitchenette with sink
  • Table and simple cupboard for food storage and preparation
  • Mini Fridge
  • Portable electric twin cooktop
  • Microwave 
  • Access to communal undercover outdoor BBQ area
  • Appliances, utensils and crockery; Kettle, toaster, microwave, cooking utensils, chopping boards, saucepans, frypan, glasses, wine glasses, mugs, crockery, cutlery, serving dishes

All our safari cabins contain private bathrooms so you can enjoy your privacy. 

  • Shower, sink, toiletries cupboard
  • Toilet (with free toilet paper!) 
  • Tub for soaking clothes or baby baths

A communal park laundry features large commercial sized coin-operated washing machines and dryers as well as two washing lines outdoors. BYO washing powder or purchase some from the office for $2 a load.  And please BYO washing line if you require undercover use at your safari cabin.

Our self-contained safari cabins are located on the beautiful East Coast of Tasmania in the seaside holiday town Scamander. Our caravan park and cabins are located in the perfect spot to explore the East Coast of Tasmania

North of Scamander;

  • St Helens (2o minute drive) 
  • Peron Dunes (30 minute drive) 
  • Binalong Bay (35 minutes drive) 
  • Bay of Fires (55 minutes drive)

South of Scamander;

  • Bicheno (40 minute drive) 
  • Freycinet (55 minute drive)
