Scamander Sanctuary - Breakfast voucher Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions:

  1. The breakfast voucher is available for purchase as part of the bed and breakfast package for $20 per voucher.

  2. Each breakfast voucher is valid for one person and includes a cooked breakfast and a drink of choice from the specified menu options.

  3. The breakfast voucher cannot be redeemed for cash or any other form of monetary exchange.

  4. Vouchers are valid for use from 1st April 2024 onwards.

  5. Vouchers must be presented upon arrival or at the time of ordering breakfast.

  6. Lost or stolen vouchers will not be replaced or refunded.

  7. The breakfast voucher is non-transferable and cannot be combined with any other offer or promotion.

  8. Any additional items ordered beyond the specified meal and drink included in the voucher will be charged separately.

  9. Vouchers are only redeemable at the designated breakfast service location within the establishment.

  10. The management reserves the right to amend or withdraw this offer at any time without prior notice.

  11. This offer is subject to availability and may be subject to blackout dates or other restrictions.

  12. All terms and conditions are subject to change without notice at the discretion of the management.

By purchasing and/or using the breakfast voucher, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

General Terms and conditions

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY
•    Premium Season – Cancellations within 30 days of arrival will incur a cancellation fee equal to the total cost of your booking.
•    High Season – Cancellations within 30 days of arrival will incur a cancellation fee equal to the total cost of your booking.
•    Mid-Season – Cancellations within 14 days of arrival will incur a cancellation fee equal to the total cost of your booking.
•    Low Season – Cancellations within 48 hours prior to arrival will incur a cancellation fee equal to the total cost of your booking.
If you need to change your dates, your booking will be non-refundable.

EXTREME WEATHER CONDITIONS

Scamander Sanctuary Holiday Park reserves the right to cancel bookings due to extreme weather such as high winds and fire. Customers will be notified if such conditions occur and a full booking refund will be offered. In such an event, the customer is responsible for making alternate arrangements and is responsible for any associated costs.

Reception and Phone hours:

1st December – 31 May - 9 am to 5 pm 
1st June – 30th November - 11 am to 5 pm 

EARLY DEPARTURES

No refunds will be given for early departures.

DEPOSITS

A deposit is required to secure your reservation. A deposit equal to the first night’s accommodation/site rate must be paid at the time of making your booking. Reservations will not be guaranteed without a deposit (We accept Visa and Mastercard for online and phone bookings).

Final payment dates for bookings will depend on the season.

•           Premium Season: Final payment due 30 days prior to arrival
•          High Season: Final payment due 30 days prior to arrival
•          Mid-Season: Final payment due 14 days prior to arrival
•          Low Season: Final payment due 24 hours prior to arrival

All bookings will receive a booking confirmation from Scamander Sanctuary Holiday Park.

Your booking confirmation will contain a link directly to your guest account where you are able to make any future payments.

CHECK IN/CHECK OUT

Site fees are calculated until 10am on the day of departure. If your travel arrangements need to be modified, please contact park management at least a day in advance. Sites check in from 11am. Glamping accommodation check in from 2pm.

VEHICLES
The safety of our guests is our number one priority. Please limit the speed of your vehicles to 5km/h (walking pace). Note the one-way direction of traffic. Please contact Park Management if you wish to wash or repair a vehicle on site.

YOUR SITE/SAFARI TENT/CABIN

Please keep your area tidy and use the facilities provided for drying clothes, rubbish disposal and discharge of sullage water. Please do not tie ropes or secure tarps from trees. We ask that you do not dig trenches on or around your site.

CAMP FIRES

If permitted, camp fires must be contained in the designated enclosures or approved fire pots only. Under no circumstances may fires be lit directly on the ground. Park management permission must be obtained before lighting. Park management may declare a total fire ban within the park on any day. Fires must be extinguished with water each evening. Collection of firewood IS NOT PERMITTED within the park or adjoining reserve.

NOISE

The peaceful enjoyment of all our guests is important to us. Please assist by being considerate to others by restricting noise from radios, televisions, and social gatherings after 10pm and before 6am. Otherwise you may be asked to leave.

PETS

At the SOLE DISCRETION OF MANAGEMENT, please advise prior to arrival. So that you enjoy your stay with us, we must ensure that all pet owners take full responsibility for their pets and they do not disturb other guests. Please read the following to ensure you and your pet can meet the following conditions: Pets are not permitted in Cabins, Safari Tents, amenities block or camp kitchens; Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times whilst in the park and never be left unattended nor allowed to roam on neighbouring land; As the owner you are responsible for cleaning up after your pet; Barking or yapping dogs are not permitted as is banned breeds, aggressive or un-socialised dogs; All pet owners, whether you have expressly agreed or not, assume all responsibility regarding your pet and indemnify us against all and any damages or claims or other suits that may arise as a result of your pet being anywhere in our caravan park; Any breaches of the above conditions may result in early departure and forfeiture of fees.

SMOKING

Smoking is not permitted within 4 metres of any public area, or in the cabins, safari tents, public amenities, laundry, and camp kitchens. Please do not smoke in the neighbouring reserve or walk way to beach.

CHILDREN

The sanctuary and its facilities are provided for the enjoyment of you and your children. The supervision of your children is important for
their safety and to ensure they do not disturb other guests. Children must be accompanied by an adult when visiting the showers and toilets.

BICYCLES, SKATEBOARDS, SCOOTERS, ROLLER BLADES AND ROLLER SKATES

The nearest safe area for children to use these items is next to Scamander surf club. These items (except for bicycles) are not to be used within park grounds. Bicycles may be ridden in the park during daylight hours providing the rider is wearing a helmet.

PLAYGROUND

Children and infants must be supervised by an adult at all times. Management will not be responsible for any injuries sustained and the use of facilities is at own risk, with parents/guardians entirely responsible for their children. Only children under the age of 12 may use the playground and during daylight hours only. No food or drink is permitted. Rough or unruly behavior will not be tolerated. Offensive or bad language is not tolerated. Please be mindful of smaller children.

Use of equipment may result in serious personal injury including broken limbs, head, eye or spinal injury, paralysis or even death. Risks include collisions with other users, falls, and hazards associated with heights, gaps, openings and protruding objects in and around the playground.

VALUABLES AND PERSONAL GOODS

Whilst we do our best to ensure a safe and secure environment, park management will not be responsible for any damage or theft to your personal property.

ACCESS TO BEACH

The walk way to the beach passes through an amazing private coastal reserve. This is a sensitive eco habitat for animals, flora and fauna. Please keep to the formed track with no vehicles permitted. To protect this environment, we ask that you refrain from smoking, littering, fires, & supervise children. Please be aware that by leaving the park you are entering this area at your own risk. Enjoy spotting the native animals!

SWIMMING

Although a beautiful beach, please be aware dangerous tides or rips may exist and the beach is unpatrolled

RISK WARNING

Park management wishes to warn all persons who engage in any activity for recreation, leisure, or relaxation that the pursuit of such activities may result in harm or serious personal injury. All persons who engage in such activities do so at their own risk. Children and infants must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
